On a beautiful spring day c/w blue skies, The Priory began it's 2022 season at The Addington a truly beautiful but difficult course.
I hope you all managed to pick up the free booklet telling it's story & showing wonderful photographs from times past on the course.
The greens alone caused a lot of people a lot of trouble, with the exception of our own Paul Green who managed a 2, yes 2, on the 17th giving him 5 points which in
turn got him into the prizes.
For those still awake, a drive onto the green, then a 70' putt (which seems to get longer every time he tells it).
But congratulations Paul, very well done, just losing on countback to David Shiebert; who was presented with the trophy both on 33 points.
33 is also the number of members & guests who "enjoyed" the course, the day & the steak & ale pie which followed.
The manager & staff were very accommodating which contributed to an extremely good meeting.
