Some people mentioned the good weather, some people mentioned the abundance of heather, everybody mentioned how beautifully the course was presented for our 2023 Captain's Day.
The winner on the day was Danny Score on 44 points winning the Douglas Wilson Salver and second place was claimed by Richard Bull on 42 points.
Guest winner was Alan Clack on 40 points, so the course was there for the taking.
We were also playing for the Peter Worne Scratch Trophy which was won by Richard Harris with a splendid 75 shots, just 4 over par.
The nearest the line on the first was won by George Michie (actually touching the line) whilst nearest the pins were Nick Kilbey & Richard Harris.
Winning team were John Thompson, Robert Harris, Richard Harris & George Michie . The team of Richard Bull John Burton, Brian Mitchinson & Yan Hodge took 2nd place.
