After an extremely large breakfast & the AGM the Priory members spilt out onto the course.
The torrential rain of the previous week just a dim memory. The bunkers that were out of play had been rebuilt to such a high standard that you would never have known there was a problem & the lakes of standing water had disappeared. The sun shining out of the blue sky completed the picture.
Suitably the winner of the Bill Watford Cup was club member Graham White on 35 points. Second was Danny Score on 34, beating Chris Bell on countback.
The Team prize went to Danny Score, Chris Bell and new member Alec Cochrane.The team in second place were John Humphries, Brian Mitchinson and John Thompson.
Nearest the pins went to John Humphries & Alec Cochrane whilst Mick Barry was nearest the line on the 18th.
Danny Score also received the two annual trophies he had won, the Jack Hours Plate and Baldwin Cup.
